Ballard Art Festival
Six Exhibitions around Lincoln City Centre 6-12th May 2013
Inspired by the novels of author J.G. Ballard , the Ballard Art Festival will showcase the art of University of Lincoln students in six unique exhibitions. The exhibitions will span a vast variety of media: performance, painting, sculpture, digital, and sound; and each location shall host an private viewing event in celebration of the art and artists.

​The Empire of the sun – Freedom from Fear exhibition explores the themes of overcoming fear of the destruction of war and its influences on lifestyle, family, and stability. The art shall be held at the Platform at Tower Bar, the audience is invited to explore the interpretations of the book and the nostalgia of being thrown back in time.
