The Crystal World aims to encapsulate the sense of discovery, adventure, and enthrallment within Sir Joseph Banks conservatory-tropical garden within Lincoln city, taking inspiration from both Ballard's writing and the voyage of Sir Joseph Banks himself. Through the creation of site-specific sculpture, installation, and photography the exhibition will evoke exploration and reconnaissance during a time when the blank pages of the map have already been filled.
