Ballard Art Festival
Six Exhibitions around Lincoln City Centre 6-12th May 2013
Inspired by the novels of author J.G. Ballard , the Ballard Art Festival will showcase the art of University of Lincoln students in six unique exhibitions. The exhibitions will span a vast variety of media: performance, painting, sculpture, digital, and sound; and each location shall host an private viewing event in celebration of the art and artists.
The Wind from Nowhere exhibition will explore themes revolving around human civilisation crumbling to nature. The work included is set to change over the course of the exhibition following these notions of deterioration and destruction, found both within and surrounding Ballard's novel of the same name.
