Ballard Art Festival
Six Exhibitions around Lincoln City Centre 6-12th May 2013
Inspired by the novels of author J.G. Ballard , the Ballard Art Festival will showcase the art of University of Lincoln students in six unique exhibitions. The exhibitions will span a vast variety of media: performance, painting, sculpture, digital, and sound; and each location shall host an private viewing event in celebration of the art and artists.

​Rushing to Paradise will be investigating the relationships between utopia and dystopia through art. The artists will be focusing on the dream of utopia and perfection being striven for yet rarely attained, and the breakdown of pursuing that original dream leading to dystopia.
