Ballard Art Festival
Six Exhibitions around Lincoln City Centre 6-12th May 2013
Inspired by the novels of author J.G. Ballard , the Ballard Art Festival will showcase the art of University of Lincoln students in six unique exhibitions. The exhibitions will span a vast variety of media: performance, painting, sculpture, digital, and sound; and each location shall host an private viewing event in celebration of the art and artists.
The Millennium People
Taking the revolutionary themes from Ballard's novel, The Millennium People exhibition aims to redefine the expected nature of traditional art galleries by giving power to the audience through intervention and participation. The visitors to the gallery will determine its narrative, which may produce a provocative and radical experience.
